“ Best restaurant in Fountain Hills. This is the place to go if you like lamb. I’ve had in the past the lamb roast, lamb ribs, and last night I had the lamb skewers and my wife had the lamb chops. She gave me the bones and I nibbled off every delicious bit of meat! We had the baklava which is made by mom. 5 stars for food. Pop greats you at the door and the son was our waiter. Wine by the glass was generous pours. 5 stars for service. We sat on the front porch which has excellent views of the Fountain. 5 stars for atmosphere. We will come again. We need to come on Sunday to try the lamb shank. ”

The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming, stopping by to ensure we were enjoying ourselves and even sharing a few recommendations from the menu. His genuine friendliness made the experience even more special. The portions at Alexander Greek Restaurant are impressively large—perfect for sharing or for those with hearty appetites. Everything we tried was full of authentic Mediterranean flavors, and the ingredients tasted fresh and vibrant. - Greek Meze Platter: This was an excellent way to start the meal. The platter included hummus, tzatziki, and a feta spread with peppers (the name escapes me, but it was an absolute winner!). The creamy feta spread was the standout, with its tangy, slightly spicy kick perfectly balanced by the richness of the cheese. The meze was served with warm pita bread, which was soft and perfect for dipping. - Greek Salad: A classic done right - Chicken Skewers: The chicken was grilled to perfection—tender, juicy, and infused with a smoky, charred flavor. - Lamb with Oven-Roasted Potatoes: This dish was the highlight of the evening. The lamb was incredibly tender, cooked to perfection with a slight crust on the outside, and bursting with Mediterranean spices. The oven-roasted potatoes were soft, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned—a comforting accompaniment to the lamb. I’ll definitely be back for another helping of that unforgettable feta spread and lamb! Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Greek cuisine with a personal touch. ”

“ Great experience, relaxing on the patio with great views! Constantino was our server and it is his family’s restaurant. I love a good family restaurant as opposed to a chain. Food was fresh, everything delicious, and the baklava - very yummy! We’ll be back for sure. ”

“ We really enjoyed our dinner on the patio at Alexander’s. View was nice but traffic noise could be a bit loud at times. Food was fresh and Very Good! We had hummus & delicious pita bread & spanakopita for starters. 2 of us ordered Moussaka & the 3rd person had chicken skewers. We split an order of green beans between the 3 of us. Moussaka was soooo good ! Chicken skewer were tender & rice pilaf tasty. Constantine was our server & was on top of it. He recommended a Greek dry red wine for me & I wish I had written down the name of it, guess I’ll have to go back! We finished up by splitting an order of the best baklava I have ever tasted. Wished I would have saved some of the wine to pair with it. ”

“ From the moment my wife and I walked in we were welcomed with great service. We ordered octopus for the app, and it was so good and very tender! For the entree I ordered the beef skewers, highly recommend those! We will definitely be back soon! ”

“ From start to finish this restaurant was AMAZING!! We sat outside and had a wonderful view of the fountain. But what really was special is how well made the food is. I am an international food enthusiast & this was hands down by far the best Greek I have ever had. We got the Greek salad & even the olives were delicious (I usually don’t order dishes with olives because not a fan at all) then had the chicken skewer plate with the tzatziki sauce on the side. My taste palate has officially had authentic Greek & will 100% come back. The service was excellent. Always had what we needed without asking, friendly & family environment. Can’t recommend this restaurant enough!!! Don’t let the other reviews steer you from coming. Thank you for a wonderful dinner!! ”

“ This is the MOST authentic Greek food I’ve ever had in Arizona. My best friend is Greek so I grew up eating authentic Greek food quite a bit. I’ve never been able to find anything like it until today. The food is SO FRESH I can’t believe it. Our waiter said it was only her second day but she’s an absolute pro! She was very attentive and incredibly fast. 10/10 would recommend to everyone I know. ”
